Fashion around the world

This is the last blog from me, I hope you enjoyed my other ones. In this final blog we are going to be talking about fashion and how it varies throughout the world, how it matters more to one country than the other. I feel this is a very important topic hence why I am writing this blog about it. As it is apart of our physical appearance which is very important factor to people in today's society and our lives etc. This is why everyone should have fashion taste if they want to look they're best.

Fashion is a big part of the world and always will be, and research has proven that people spend most of their money on clothes. There so many different websites and apps that have to do with selling, swapping or buying clothes like done deal. Fashion can also be very interesting because of different people that were clothes in different ways. There are so many brands out there to be worn some more popular than others, and some are preferred.
Here are some examples of where the different brands across the world come from:

  • France : Dior, Chanel, Cartier, Louis Vuitton
  • Germany: Adidas, Hugo Boss, Puma
  • Italy: Gucci, Armani
  • UK: Jack Wills, Ted Baker
  • USA: Abercrombie & Fitch, Calvin Klein, Hollister, The North Face, Levi

Rugby

This blog is about the legendary sport that is Rugby. Rugby is only really played at a high level in Europe. America and Asian don't really play it. But there are also teams like Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina which play it.

Unlike in football where clubs and International teams are as big as each other, in Rugby international teams are bigger. In clubs there just the leagues but in international there is the world cup, the 6 nations etc......
In the current world of rugby the most payed player is Ayumu Goromaru he plays for Toulon which is a french side who have a lot of money and a lot of good players. Hes from Japan and plays fullback for Toulon and his national team. Hes born on March 1, 1986 and is 30 years old. He gets paid 1.67 million euros per year plus his add-ons throughout the season.

And the current best team in rugby are New Zealand also known as the all Blacks as they're sports gear is all in black hence the name all blacks known also for there famous Haka dance before a game to try and intimidate their oppenents.

Ireland where I am from have a really good rugby team and do well in rugby, in my opinion our best player is  Jonathan Sexton who is our number 10 also known as fly half but the only sad thing about is that since hes so good a lot of other teams target him in a match to injure him so that he wont do anything or play against other teams for that matter. So he gets injured a lot, which is sad.

Monaco

This is another blog by Lochlann and this one is about the lovely principality of Monaco which is famous for its Casino and money, also known as Monte-Carlo. It is located between France and Italy but does not belong to them. And is in the cote d'azur or the Riviera, it also boards the Mediterranean Sea. It has an area of 2.02km2.  It also has a population of about 38,000. So makes it the second smallest and the most populated country in the world. Also 30% of the population of Monaco are millionaires and has a tax net value of 0% so that means its tax-free. Monaco is a principality which means that the head of it is a Prince, his name if Prince Albert II, he is 55 years old and was born and raised in Monaco as well.

He was also born on March 14, 1958. The Princes wife shes called Princess Charlene and is 39 years old and born on January 25, 1978. She is from South Africa and was an Olympic swimmer for South Africa. The Monaco royal family also have two children a son and a daughter who are twins and where born on the December the 10, 2014 and are currently 2 years old.

The official language of Monaco is Monegasque, its like the way Irish is spoken in Ireland but no-one really speaks it. So since Monaco is basically in France they speak french which is the most spoken language and a lot of Italian and English is spoken as well. The currency of Monaco is also the euro. Monaco is in Europe and uses the euro but is not technically in the European union. There is also a Grand Prix in Monaco which brings even more tourists, which then makes Monaco even stuffier and hotter. The funny thing is about the Grand Prix is that there's not an actual track for it it is just done on the main roads of Monaco which makes on of the most dangerous circuits in the championship.

Geography of Cars

Hello this is Lochlann Kavanagh here back with another blog, I hope guys enjoyed the first one as much as you'll enjoy this one, this blog is about cars and where all the different cars come from. The year 1886 is regarded as the birth year of the modern car. In that year, German inventor Karl Benz built the Benz Patent-Motorwagen. Cars did not become widely available until the early 20th century. One of the first cars that was accessible to the public was the 1908 Model T, an American car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company.

There are cars that come from all over the world, I will give a few examples:
  • Bugatti and Citroën are from France
  • Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and BMW are from Germany
  • Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati are from Italy
  • Lexus, Nissan and Toyota are from Japan
  • Venturi is from Monaco
  • Hyundai and KIA are from South Korea
  • Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, McLaren, Land Rover and MINI are from the UK
  • Tesla, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford are from the USA
At this moment in time the Hennessy Venom GT is the fastest car in the world with a outstanding 435.3km/h. It also costs a shocking 1.2 million dollars.

There are also cars that run on different type of fuels like Hybrid and electric cars which help the environment. Hybrid means that the car uses half electricity and half fuel. Not many of the big expensive cars are hybrid but will be in the future. At the moment only small cars like the Toyota Prius use this system. To try it out first and when sure of it then start using it on the big cars like Bugatti's or Lamborghini. Hybrid cars don't cost that much but electric cars do cost quite a bit, even for the small ones as well as, that you cant go to a petrol station you have to go to a charging port when your electric car runs out which can be annoying and put people mind of buying an electric car. Electric cars also don't make any noise which might not appeal to certain people. Some people would like the big engine noise of a Ferrari or a Lamborghini.

Geographical Football

Hey, this blog is about the geography of football all about where it came and how it spread throughout the world. Football is about three thousand years old. Its a mystery how football spread from Asia to the Romans. There are references that say that soccer was played in ancient Greek and Roman Olympics. As the game of football got more popular it became more noisy and violent. In the 1680s football was primarily authorized in England but there were certain rules to it like any other sport. Then in 1860 the England Football Association was  formed then in 1863 Belgium, 1874 Germany, 1879 Netherlands, 1882 South Africa, 1906 Nigeria, 1930 Congo. Then in 1984, 150 nations joined FIFA. Finally in 2011, 208 nations joined FIFA. Europe is now dominant in world football.

In each country there is a different type of competition for a Cup for example in Africa they have the African Cup of Nations, in Asia they have the Asian Cup, in Europe they have the Euros, in North America they have the Gold Cup, in Oceania as in Australia they have the Nations Cup and finally in South America they have the Copa America also known as the Confederations Cup. These are all national competition's.Here are where all the most famous clubs are situated in the world and as you can see they are around Italy, France, England, Spain, Germany and Portugal where football is most dominant like I said before. Europe also consists of the best and most paid players. Some of the best players of the world in football come from south America even though the south American football league isn't good at all. But players like Pelé, Maradona, Messi, Neymar etc.....
